Urumqi and the Tian Shan Mountains: Start in the capital city of Urumqi, where you can visit the Xinjiang Regional Museum and the Hongshan Park. Then, take a day trip to the Tian Shan Mountains, where you can see stunning glaciers and alpine landscapes.

Silk Road Adventure: Begin in Urumqi and then travel west to the ancient city of Kashgar, a major stop on the Silk Road. Along the way, visit the Id Kah Mosque, the largest mosque in China, and the Tomb of the Fragrant Concubine, a historic tomb and museum.

Xinjiang's Culture and History: Start in Urumqi and then head to the ancient city of Turpan, where you can visit the Jiaohe Ruins, an ancient city built on a cliff, and the Bezeklik Thousand Buddha Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Next, travel to the city of Hotan to see the Hotan Museum and the Hotan Bazaar.
