Day 1: Arrive in Beijing and check in to your hotel, Visit the Forbidden City, the largest and best-preserved imperial palace complex in China, Explore Tiananmen Square, the largest public square in the world, Enjoy a traditional Peking duck dinner.

Day 2: Take a day trip to Chengde, located about 170 km (106 mi) northeast of Beijing, Visit the Chengde Mountain Resort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and former summer palace of the Qing dynasty emperors, See the Puning Temple, also known as the "Big Buddha Temple," which houses a 26-meter (85-ft) tall bronze statue of Guanyin, the bodhisattva of compassion, Take a leisurely stroll around the Eight Outer Temples, a group of eight temples built in the 18th century. Return to Beijing in the evening.

Day 3: Visit the Temple of Heaven, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and former imperial place of worship for the Ming and Qing dynasties, Take a rickshaw tour of the Hutongs, traditional alleyways lined with courtyard houses, to get a glimpse of old Beijing, Visit the Summer Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and former imperial garden and palace. Depart Beijing.

Day 3: Take a train or bus to Chengde, Visit the Mountain Resort, a vast imperial palace and garden complex built in the 18th century, Visit the Putuo Zongcheng Temple and Puning Temple, both of which are located within the Mountain Resort.

Day 4: Explore the surrounding area by taking a boat ride on the lake or hiking in the mountains, Visit the local markets and try the local cuisine, Return to Beijing in the evening

Day 5: Visit the Summer Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the largest and best-preserved imperial garden in China, Explore the nearby ancient observatory, Jingshan Park and the Lama Temple, In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner and prepare for your trip home.
