A 7-day trip to Beijing is a relatively leisurely time. During these 7 days, you can slowly experience almost all of the best attractions and cultural experiences. The best attractions include the Great Wall, where you can choose to hike or take a night tour, the Forbidden City for a regular or in-depth tour, Jingshan Park, the Summer Palace and Kunming Lake for a lake cruise, Tiananmen Square, Temple of Heaven, Yonghe Temple, the Bird's Nest, Panjiayuan Market, and more. Cultural experiences can include nighttime kung fu performances, Peking Opera shows, exploring the hutongs (narrow alleys), making dumplings, engaging in painting, calligraphy, paper-cutting, and other activities. You can also enjoy leisurely strolls, such as exploring Wangfujing Street and visiting bars at Houhai.
