5 Days Beijing Archaeological Itinerary
Day 1: Walk leisurely on Tian’anmen Square, explore the emperor’s Forbidden City, climb Jingshan Park for panorama of Forbidden City and Beijing, enjoy a walking tour in Hutong area and set your feet into a local family, learn how to write some simple Chinese characters
Day 2: Visit the less crowded Mutianyu Great Wall with round ways cable car and Ming Tomb
Day 3: Admire the amazing architecture of the Temple of Heaven and take a Taichi lesson there, Find the secrets of Zhoukoudian Peking Man's Park, and learn about some facts of Peking Man at Zhoukoudian Peking Man Museum
Day 4: Enjoy a leisure time at Summer Palace, pay a visit to Arthur M. Sackler Museum of Art and Archaeology at Peking University and delve into the history of Old Summer Palace
Day 5: Go appreciating treasures at Capital Museum, do some shopping at Panjiayuan Antique Market, and visit Temple of Confucius and the adjacent Guozijian Ancient Imperial School

Day 1: Take a leisure morning walk on Tian’anmen Square, visit Forbidden City, and relax at Beihai Park
Day 2: Hike on Mutianyu Great Wall with cable car up and down, immerse yourself into the are world at 798 Art Zone
Day 3: Have fun at Summer Palace with boat cruise, see the largest sandalwood Buddha in the world at Yonghegong Lama Temple, search for some interesting antiques at Panjiayuan Antique Market
Day 4: Enjoy a hutong walking tour with local family visit, and take a private cooking class in Hutong family to learn some Chinese dishes
Day 5: Do morning exercise at Temple of Heaven, try some local specialties at Qianmen Street and see the Bird Nest and Water Cube from the outside
