Huangshan City

Huangshan City is undoubtedly the crown jewel of tourism in Anhui Province and one of China's most renowned travel destinations. It is home to the Huangshan Scenic Area, a UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage Site, as well as the ancient villages of Hongcun and Xidi, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites and outstanding examples of traditional Hui-style architecture. From elegant white-walled, black-tiled houses to exquisite wood and brick carvings, every corner reflects the unique charm of Huizhou culture.

Surrounded by mountains and rivers, Chizhou offers picturesque scenery throughout the year. The city is also rich in traditional culture and is regarded as the birthplace of Qingyang Opera, one of the earliest forms of Chinese opera and an important predecessor of Peking Opera. In addition, Dongzhi Lantern Festival has been inscribed on China's National Intangible Cultural Heritage List, adding to Chizhou's unique cultural appeal.

Hefei

Hefei, the capital of Anhui Province, is the province's political, economic, cultural, and transportation hub. With a history of more than 3,000 years, it is one of the important birthplaces of Chinese civilization. Today, Hefei is a dynamic city where ancient heritage blends seamlessly with modern urban development. It is also one of China's four Comprehensive National Science Centers, playing a leading role in scientific research and technological innovation.
