10 Days Inner Mongolia Travel Itinerary
If you're planning a 10 days trip itinerary to explore Inner Mongolia, do you know how to arrange an itinerary that suits your preferences? For most people visiting Inner Mongolia for the first time, the main attractions are usually the grasslands, followed by the deserts. If you want to experience both the grasslands and deserts within 10 days, it's recommended to center your trip around Hohhot.
To the east of Hohhot are grasslands, such as Xilamuren Grassland (90 km away), Huitengxile Grassland (110 km away), and Gegentala Grassland (140 km away). You can choose one of these grasslands to visit.
To the west of Hohhot are cultural sites and deserts. The famous Kubuqi Desert is located 30 km south of Baotou, about 180 km west of Hohhot. There's also the Tengger Desert, 850 km away, and the Badain Jaran Desert, 1,300 km away.
Within these 10 days, Baotou and Ordos are essential stops on your itinerary.
