Ancient Xian and Huashan Mountain Tour
This 5-day tour combines the Terracotta Warriors and Horses and other Xi’an famous relics with a one day tour to the Huashan Mountain, which is known as the No. 1 precipitous mountain under heaven.

Day 1:Your personal guide and driver will wait for you at the airport arrival hall, holding your name sign. They will transfer you from the airport to the hotel in about forty minutes. Have a good rest at the hotel, dinner at the hotel is suggested.

Day 2: Today’s tour includes the world famous Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses and the ancientCity Wall. One hour drive from Xi’an city, the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum includes three pits and an exhibition opened for travelers. It takes two hours to visit all the places.
Your lunch will be arranged at a good local restaurant near the Terracotta Warriors and Horse Museum. After lunch, we suggest that you have a stopover at the handmade pottery factory where you will learn how people manufacture the terra-cotta warriors. You can buy one at a reasonable price. There is no pressure to buy.
In the afternoon, drive back to the city center and visit the Xi’an City Wall, taking a bike or a golf car is a good way to see it all in an hour. The City Wall is the landmark of Xi’an. It is well-preserved, as well as one of the oldest and largest city defense systems in China.
Day 3:About two hours drive from Xi’an city, you will arrive at Huashan Mountain, which is one of the five sacred Taoist mountains in China. Huashan Mountain is known as the No. 1 precipitous mountain under heaven. You will take a short bus ride by the scenic area to the mountain entrance, take the cable car up to visit the Cloud Terrace Peak (North Peak, 1613m) or East Peak (2090m) if you wish to see more in 2-3 hours. Queue up for a cable car down and head back for the hotel. On the way back, a late lunch will be arranged at a local restaurant.
- 1. There are steep stairs on the Mountain, walk slowly and hold on to the chains wherever available. Cotton gloves are available to protect against the rust on chains.
- 2. A late lunch will be arranged, prepare some snacks and bottle water for the hike on the Mountain. Comfortable sneakers are strongly suggested for the mountain hike.
Day 4: After the mountain hike on the previous day, this is a relatively easy day of city sightseeing. You will visit the Shaanxi History Museum, which is the biggest and best museum in Xi’an, capital of Shaanxi Province. It collects over 370,000 precious relics which were unearthed in Shaanxi Province, including; bronze wares, pottery figures and mural paintings in Tang tombs. You will find two hours in the Museum too short.
Following the Shaanxi History Museum, you will visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda for about an hour; it is where Master Xuanzang (Monk Tripitaka) stored his Buddhism classics brought from India. Lunch will be arranged at a local restaurant, where you can buy the dishes you like.
In the afternoon, you will visit the Great Mosque. This small but peaceful mosque is the oldest and best-preserved Islamic mosque in China. It is the reflection of the integration of Islamic culture and Chinese culture. You may also visit the famous Muslim Street and Muslim community afterwards.
Day 5: The guide and driver will escort you from hotel to airport and help you with the airport check-in.
