Day 1, Beijing Arrival
Meals: No Meals
Be met and welcomed by your private guide and driver upon arrival in Beijing, China. Transfer from airport to your luxurious hotel. Relax at hotel and acclimate yourself to the new environment.

Day 2, Beijing City Highlights, Forbidden City and Summer Palace
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Enjoy a refreshing morning with a walk tour across Tiananmen Square, the largest city square in the world, and then enter the Palace Museum, formerly known as the Forbidden City. One of the world’s five great palaces, Forbidden City features the biggest and best-preserved ancient imperial palaces dating to nearly 600 years ago. Later climb up Jingshan Hill for a panoramic view of Forbidden City.
In the afternoon, tour Summer Palace and enjoy a relaxing boat cruise. Its beautiful garden and riverside palace used to be the summer retreat for the royal family.
Regarding your dinner meal, Beijing Roast Duck is highly recommended (optional).

Day 3, The Great Wall, Exterior of Bird’s Nest and Water Cube
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Visit the less-crowded and well-preserved Mutianyu Great Wall. Take a cable car up to the top for sublime mountain views and to marvel at the world’s greatest ancient military engineering. Drive back to downtown Beijing, and have a short stop at the Olympic Park to appreciate the beautiful architecture of Bird’s Nest and Water Cube from the outside.
Regarding Beijing’s evening activities, you’re encouraged to watch a fantastic Kung Fu Show (optional).

Day 4, Temple of Heaven, Hutong Tour, Bullet Train to Xian
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Start a new day with morning exercise of Tai Chi at Temple of Heaven, where the ancient emperors used to pay homage to heaven, hoping for harvest, peace and stability. Nowadays, it is the public park for local people to do morning exercise and various activities. Later, take a hutong tour on a rickshaw to experience the real life of Beijing like a local and see what the Old Beijing looks like.
Transfer to the railway station and ride a bullet train to Xian, China’s once bustling capital and the vital starting point of the Silk Road trading route. Check-in to your hotel.

Day 5, Terracotta Warriors and Horses, Xian Ancient City Wall, Muslim Quarter

Visit the Terracotta Army Museum where there are thousands of life-sized terracotta warriors and horses excavated from underground - the sacrificial objects to accompany and protect The First King after he died 2200 years ago.
Afterwards, admire China’s longest and best-kept Ancient City Wall that dates back to 1370. Ride a bike on the wall if you prefer. Also have a leisure stroll through the Muslim Quarter, a famous food street in Xian, with Muslim cultural ambience.
Enjoy a local specialty dinner – a dumpling banquet, followed with a Tang Dynasty Dance Show (optional).

Day 6, Shaanxi History Museum, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Flight to Shanghai

To know more of the history of Xian and China, visit Shaanxi History Museum, one of the most important history museums in the country, boasting rich collections. Walk towards the southeast for 5 minutes and reach Big Wild Goose Pagoda, one of the earliest Buddhist pagodas in China and blending ancient Chinese architectural style.
Transfer to the airport and fly to Shanghai, the last stop of your golden triangle tour. Pick up and transfer to hotel.

Day 7, Shanghai City Highlights, Yu Garden, The Bund, Shanghai Tower

Visit Shanghai Museum, collecting a wealth of ancient Chinese culture and art treasures. And continue the tour to see the past and present of Shanghai, with a visit of Yuyuan Garden and a walk on the Bund. One of the most beautiful classical Chinese gardens, Yuyuan is elaborately designed and constructed.
Go through the Town God Temple, Shanghai’s old street and gastronomic center, and reach the Bund, lined with colonial architecture and offering views of Shanghai’s skyline right across the Huangpu River. Ascend the over 600-meter-high Shanghai Tower to overlook the bustling Pudong New Area.

Day 8, Shanghai Departure

It is the end of your China holiday. Bid a farewell to this magic country and the lovely people. A departure transfer to the airport has been arranged for you. Fly home safely and soundly.
