Tianmen Mountain, also known as Yunmeng Mountan, Hutou Mountain, Songliang Mountain and Yuping Mountain in ancient times. It is located in northern Zhangjiajie located between Tianmen Mountain County and Daping County in Yongding District, next to Qixing Mountain and Xiongbi Cliff 10 kilometers away from downtown. This mountain is considered the highest mountain in Zhangjiajie, which is known as a natural wonder . Due to its momentum, it is treated as the center of Zhangjiajie. It is 40 kilometers away from Zhangjiajie National Forest Park where there are rich forest resources with coverage over 80%. The mountain has beautiful scenery. It began from Yanshan movement and rose a thousand meters due to natural disasters, which caused the karst landscape that exists today. The top of the mountain is relatively flat and reserves original secondary forest, precise and unique plants with a forest coverage rate of 90%. Tianmen Cave is 131.5 meters high and over 50 meters wide with clouds year round, which makes it a wonder. Tianmen Mountain scenic area has been rated as a 4A scenic area by National Tourist Attraction Quality Level Committee.
