My name is MaJiong,English name is Jack. I was born in Kolar,Xinjiang,my hometown is a nice city, with a beautiful Peacock river crossing, and it famous by fragrant pear. I came to Kashgar when I was 20 for my college, and my major was English, I became a tour guide after college, I love this job, I love to talk to foreigners. I like doing outdoor sports. I go to gym every week.
I’ve been tour guide for 4 years. I like to take my gusts to old town and livestock market. I think these tow places are the real “Kashgar on Silk Rord”. I really like to talk about culture and history of Kashgar with my guests. I still remember I gave lessons to my guests’ children about the culture of Kashgar when we were hiking around the Kalakuli Lake.
I really like to be a tour guide in Kashgar.I really like to introduce Kashgar to visitors, no matter where they are from, what color of their skin, only if they want to know Kashgar!
Shirghzat Guide
I was born June 5, 1979 in the most prosperous Kashgar city of ancient the Silk Road, I go to school in Kashgar before September, 1995 primary school and high school. I have a lot of interest and hobbies for example play football, sing a song dancing, read a book, travel, and make friend to chat, hiking tour, and mountain climbing. My next school life begin to Septamber,1995 in Urumqi at Xinjiang foreign trade school ,study import and export , Till September, 1999. After school graduates go to Xinjiang University study two years the tour manages. Any training related to the job, number of years as a guide. The school graduates in 2001, Anthan in the travel agency worked to study for two years. Take part in 2003 qualifications examination for guide, Pass in examination guide''s certificate. From now to do the guide work. I like the Silk Road,because the silk road include Desert ,Oasis,
Mountain, Gobi and to many ancient City .there are too many history. I like hiking, the desert goes on foot and camping and hiking to the mountain. Because I born in Kashgar city I study to many things and to many local custom from my childhood .and I know to many history and habit about Xinjiang local minorities nationality . I have a lot of trip experience, to many years ago hiking to K2 (8611M) time meet a lot of stories from the Camel works and lose camel like this to many things. I like this work, because this work has much of a challenge, because the tour guide must know too many things about your trip and local habits. So guide must be study to much different Knowledge history. Please show your hospitality to welcoming guests from all over the world. Welcome to Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Sawut Mohammed
My full name is Mohammed Sawut was born in Kashgar and was graduated Xinjiang university masters degree in folklore anthropology. Kashgar is city on Silk Road. It is cradle of Uyghurs culture. I mostly interest in studying anthropology, history and religion. My hobbies are playing basketball, football and swimming. I have been guiding for 10 years so far.
Being a guide I mostly like to travelling in Xinjiang. My favorite places are Kucha, Turpan and Kashgar. I mostly focus on my clients on religion, culture and history because I am an anthropologist. I think being national guide is for 24 people in 2006 is always remembers me all the time.
It is my great honor to being a guide for everybody. I warmly welcome everybody arriving in my beautiful and historical hometown. As you know this is the crossroad of Silk Road and so many things were went on centuries ago. I am glad you choose here to come and appreciate work with me. Born in Kashgar and my hometown originally from Kashgar.
I know a lot about my hometown, history, colorful culture, religion habit, etc….I’m very interested reading books, watching American movies talking with different people. I prepare all necessities before the tour group comes. I explain a lot about history, religion, geography, national culture and customs, habits, and fairy tales when I’m guiding the tour group, I like kids and easy get on well with them and play with them as their own brother. I know how to serve the different tour groups with different character.
Very easy to be flexible for the guests. Try to make them happy, and always ready to solve any problems and help what the guests demand, guarantee of the guests full of warm satisfaction, I try to work hard and get the appraisal or satisfaction letter of the guests, like : knowledgeable, flexible, work hard, ardent or warmhearted , humorous …etc. My favorite destinations , a lot , Turpan,Taklamakan desert , Kucha , Hotan , All Kashgar. My especially knowledge is history and religion about Uighurs and culture as well. My most memorable trip in my life is: crossing the whole Taklamakan desert from south to north by foot, trekking to K2 base camp. And always exciting trip to Turpan .and there are a lot to tell.
