    The Bund:

    The Bund (Wai tan) is the one of the best-known landmarks that cannot be missed in Shanghai. It is considered as China’s “Wall Street”. But, when the lights of various colors are on at night, the buildings at the Bund along the Huangpu River are just like crystal palaces, reflecting a sense of luxury and elegance.     Nanjing Road:

    West Nanjing Road features a number of up-market shopping centers, office buildings, and some other retail outlets. Many of Shanghai’s oldest and largest department stores are located at East Nanjing Road. Despite, there is a variety of domestic retail outlets and some traditional delicacies with a long history. The Park Hotel there is Shanghai’s most well-known historical hotels.

    Shangcheng Acrobatic Show:

    The famous Shanghai Acrobatic Troupe has performed around the globe and is a wonderful night out for visitors to Shanghai. Their movement is art - tightly choreographed and rehearsed endlessly

    Yu Garden:

    Yuyuan Garden locates near the City God Temple in Shanghai. It is one of the more exquisite gardens in Southern China with a history of over 40 years. Although repaired for many times, each hall, pavilion, stream, stone and so on in the garden expresses the essence of the landscape design of the Ming and Qing Dynasty in Southern China.

    Jade Buddha Temple:

    There are two jade Buddha statues in the Jade Buddha Temple which were imported from Burma in 1882: the sitting Buddha and the reclining Buddha. They are considered as treasure in the art of Buddhism. The Tripitaka Sutra published in the reign of Emperor Qianlong is kept in the Jade Buddha Temple in full text, consisting of 7,000 volumes in total. There are also the Meditation Hall, Vegetarian Canteen, Charity and Virtue Hall, Bronze Buddha Hall and Hall of Goddess of Mercy and so on.

    Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall:

    Located on People’s Square, the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall displays the overall urban planning and development of Shanghai and besides exhibitions, it offers data searching, education, leisure, and sightseeing services. A 1:200 giant model of the city center which takes up an area of 800 square meters is displayed.

    Jinmao Tower(Top View):

    Shanghai Jin Mao Tower, 420.5 meters in height, is the third highest building in mainland China. It is an intelligent building combining office space, hotel, and exhibition center, entertainment, sightseeing, and shopping together. The five-star Shanghai Grand Hyatt Hotel, occupying from floor 53 to floor 87 with 555 rooms, is the highlight of the Jin Mao Tower.

    Xitang Ancient Water Town:

    Being one of the 6 ancient towns in Southern China, Xitang is town with natural scenery in Jiashan County, Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Proviince. Xitang Ancient Town is less than 100 kilometers away from the city center of Shanghai, Suzhou, and Hangzhou. The biggest difference of Xitang from other ancient towns is that all the corridor streets by the rivers have ceilings. The length of the ceilinged corridors is about 1,000 meters. Another difference is that in this waterside town, residents make full use of every piece of land available. The shops or houses are very close to one another, forming about 120 narrow alleys, only letting through 2 people at a time.

    Chenghuang Miao:

    Shanghai City God Temple (Chenghuang Miao) is a Taoist temple known for its long history and grand architecture. The temple is also a traditionally commercial district that hosts annual temple fair events and a range of shops, restaurants, teahouses. Most of the buildings of the stores have a history of more than a hundred years old.

    Shanghai Museum:

    The perfectly-symmetrical Shanghai Museum houses over 120,000 cultural artifacts and period pieces, as well as a collection of more than 200,000 books on Chinese art and history in its massive library. Its three world-class exhibition halls host exciting exhibitions throughout the year, and its 11 state-of-the-art galleries feature impressive permanent collections that include paintings, ancient calligraphies, bronze and jade collections, ceramics, old coins and over 100 pieces of furniture from the Ming and Qing dynasties.

    MOCA Shanghai:

    Having earned a reputation as a pace-setter for contemporary art in Shanghai, this non-profit museum has premier exhibits of Chinese and foreign art regularly making their way into its large, modern digs.
