Hongzhushan Hotel

Hongzhushan Hotel

Located at the foot of Mt. Emei, which is a world natural and cultural heritage site, Hongzhushan Hotel is only 200 meters (or less) away from the renowned Baoguo Temple. With 440,000 square meters of primitive forests, 100,000 square meters of lakes and 5000-meter-long winding paths around, the hotel is hailed as a secluded paradise hidden in the forest. It can’t be defined as a hotel; to be more accurate, it’s a natural existence integrated with the surrounding landscape. The layout of the hotel takes advantages of the physical features of the ambient mountains, taking on a scattered but symmetric look. You can appreciate what Mother Nature has to offer without having to step away from the hotel. Looked from the top, its 9 scattered villas are hidden throughout the extending mountains and glistening lakes. All the villas are interlinked with one another by terraces, waterside pavilions, and small bridges and winding paths, all of which have become an integral part of the natural landscape. On sweltering summer days, you will be carried away by the sounds of birds and the fragrance of flowers. Sauntering further apart from the thick woods, you will feel reluctant to say goodbye to everything you see and feel in the woods: the verdant grass, the fragrance of the leaves and the refreshing coolness. Even the thorns become sentimental when you leave. Bathed in the gentle, moist breeze coming from the woods, you would feel as if you were listening to the sounds of Mother Nature. In the morning when Hongzhu Lake is still veiled in the mist, you can stretch yourself and start a journey of enjoying what the hotel has to offer. Sometimes, you are lucky enough to see squirrels, the elves of the forests in search for their breakfasts. Most of the rooms are furnished with natural lighting and French windows, with balconies stretching deep into the woods. The rooms and the landscape are therefore combined as a whole. Jin Yong, a famed Chinese writer, paid a tribute to the hotel, when he stated that, “Each window here is a landscape.” In addition, the hotel has received many honors and awards, such as “one of China’s top ten most popular holiday inns (Golden Pillow Prize),” “one of China’s top hotels,” “celebrated Chinese restaurant” and “one of China’s top ten exhibition hotels.” Also, it has joined the China Famous Hotels Corporation.
