There are many famous native products in Guilin such as Chinese grapefruit, summer orange, fructus momordicae, ginkgo, Lipu taro while ornaments are featured in ethnic characteristics such as Gui embroidery, comb, umbrella made by paper and hand painted screen while crafts are carving of jade, bamboo, porcelain and weaving.

In addition, when you have arrived in Guilin, don’t forget to buy “Three Treasures of Guilin” (Sanhua wine, chilli sauce and fermented bean curd) which are famous native products in Guilin.

There are many shopping places in Guilin in which Zhengyang Walking Street is the most famous commercial street reputed as “The First Street in The West o China”. It starts from the Shan Lake Road (N) in the south to Jiefang Road (E) in the east; the total length is 666m which has the meaning of luck. In the street, you can buy what you want no matter jewels, calligraphy and costume, native products and gourmets.
