Guilin: The best time to travel

Summer and autumn (from April to October) are the best seasons to travel in Guilin.

The best time to sightsee clean waters and beautiful mountains in Guilin is from April to October. You can see splendid line drawing pictures in Longsheng. After the half month of April 15th of lunar time, you can see another bright and watery Longji terrace. At the beginning of April, there is Hongyi Festival and Miao Festival in October. It is very lively and wonderful to enjoy numerous festivals. At the night of Mid-autumn Festival, Moon and Sun towers of Elephant Hill in the Li River are so beautiful and marvelous that attracts a lot of tourists.

Spring and winter: although in the off season, Guilin with few snow in winter and flowers of all seasons attract so many tourists because of Fireworks and Firecrackers festival of Tong ethnic group, Wind Forbidden Festival of Yao ethnic group, March 3rd Festival of Zhuang ethnic group and Peach Flower Festival of Gong City. In the scenic spot of hot spring, you can enjoy the warm brought by hot spring in the high mountain and dense forests.

Tips: The best season to travel in Guilin is from April to October. During the period, you may come across the Golden Week, October 1st which is the peak time of traveling. A lot of tourist will be attracted by the mild Guilin so that reservation is in the peak time and you should book a room in advance.
