  Terraced Fields at Pingan Village(about 2.30 hours from downtown, about 40 minutes upward stone steps excursion):

  One Day Longsheng tour for Ethnic Tribes Culture expedition. Depart from the hotel in the morning, after 2.5 hours driving; you will get to the Minority village Pingan near Longsheng. Hundreds upwards steps to walk. Visit Zhuang and Yao Minority tribes’ villages, local residents. You will enjoy the beautiful terraced rice fields after getting to the summit of Longji (Dragon's backbone).The terraced rice fields were first built in the Yuan Dynasty ( about 800 years ago) and completed in the Qing dynasty as the crystallization of the wisdom and labor of the Zhuang people. The terraced fields are built along the slope winding from the riverside up to the mountaintop, with the highest place of an elevation of 885m and the lowest 380m. The coiling line spirals up from the mountain foot to the top, making the mountain looks like huge snail seen afar.

  Liu Sanjie is a story that originates from the Zhuang minority people. The Zhuang are the largest minority group in China. The story is about a legend of a woman called Liu Sanjie, which means "third sister". The story in the movie as in the legend and the movie is about a local gangster: Mo Huairen. The gangster falls in love with Liu Sanjie and wished to make her his concubine. The boyfriend and his friends in the village free her and the couple escape turning themselves in a pair of larks.

  A picturesque Li River Cruise from Zhujiang Dock Guilin to dock Xingping(ancient town) which takes about 4.30 hours. Disembark and visit Fishing village that former US president Clinton visited in 1998 and enjoy a short walking in the ancient streets in Xingping town. You will be escorted to Fuli, another ancient town along Li River where you could see how world famous fans made, and then back to Yangshuo in the afternoon.

  Biking In Yangshuo Countryside:

  About 3 hours cycling from Yangshuo to Jiuxian County, Yulong River, Moon Hill, and Rock Climbing Base and back to Yangshuo. En route, you can choose the 1 hour Moon Hill climbing with 840 steps; Optional tour en route, not included in our arrangement, you can choose to take a short raft on Yulong River or Rock Climbing.

  Reed Flute Cave:

  Reed Flute Cave (Lu Di Yan) is Guilin’s largest and most impressive cave. It is an AAAA (the highest is 5A) scenic spot. The whole cave is just like a magnificent and splendid underground palace engraved by precious stones, corals and jades. It is known as a “Palace of Natural Art”. Previous or present presidents of many countries all over the world have come to visit Reed Flute Cave.

  Fubo Hill:

  With its exquisite peak rising up to 213 meters and half of it standing in the Li River, Fubo Hill is another well-known scenic spot in Guilin City. There are many tourist attractions inside the park, including a huge iron pot named “Pot for a Thousand” that could prepare food for a thousand people, a giant bell weighing 2,700 kilograms, Qianfo (Thousand-Buddha) Rock with the statues of Buddha and the carvings of many inscriptions left from the Tang Dynasty, Shijian (Sword-Testing) Stone on which it was said that General Fubo tested swords, and Tingtao (Listen-to-Waves) Pavilion at the half way of the Fubo Hill.

  he Seven Star Park, so called because of its seven hills in the shape of the Big Dipper, is one of the most popular tourist spots in the city. The Seven Star Cave within the park is the earliest grotto used for sightseeing in the world. The cave became a famous tourist scenic site in Sui and Tang Dynasties. The marvelous stalactites form various vivid shapes. And there you can see the Pandas at the Zoo.
