Built between 1406 and 1420, the Forbidden City was the palace of the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties, a period extending over 500 years. The atmosphere created by the many temples, halls and courtyards - not to mention the colors of the tiles, roofs and painted wood - is unique, leaving you with a lasting impression of imperial China. The palace has over 9000 rooms. Treasure Houses takes up about 220 square metres. There are more than 440 treasures on display belonged to Qing dynasty royalty,most of which have not never been on display in the past time. Hall of Clocks and Wathches: It is located in the east of the Inner Court outside the Gate of Respect Movement (Jing Yun Men). This exhibition hall houses about 200 clocks and watches from the imperial collection. - Ding Tomb(about 1 hour drive, be careful of the slippery steps):
Also known as the “13 Tombs”, this is the burial site of 13 Emperors of the Ming Dynasty. The tombs are located at the Tianshou Mountain of Changping District. From 1409, the first tomb called “Changling Tomb” was built and the last tomb called “Siling Tomb” was constructed in 1644. Altogether, there are now 13 tombs of Emperors, 23 of Empresses, 2 of Princes, about 30 concubines, and eunuch.

Located in Huairou County 70km northeast of Beijing, Mutianyu section of Great Wall is connected with Juyongguan Pass in the west and Gubeikou Gateway in the east. First built in the mid-6th during the Northern Qi dynasty, Mutianyu Great Wall is older, less crowded, more original than Badaling Great Wall.

The jiaozi is a Chinese dumpling which consists of meat and minced vegetables wrapped into a piece of dough. Popular meat fillings include shrimp, ground lamb, ground pork, ground beef, and even fish. Jiaozi are usually steamed or boiled. If they are fried, they are called potstickers. Compared to wontons, jiaozis have a thicker skin and are longer.
You will have about 1 to 2 hours Chinese Dumpling making at a local Beijinger' in Hutong. They are local Beijingers but they know how to teach you make the dumpling as well as ways to enjoy it.
- Hutong Tour:
You will travel by taking a rickshaw or called pedicab, visit a local famliy in a traditional courtyard, talk to the host and hostess, perhaps on your are interested in topics such as a beijinger's daily life, etc. Finally we will climp up the Drum Tower where you can have a bird's eye view of the old Beijing city.

- Big Wild Goose Pagoda:
It was initially built in 652 during the Tang Dynasty and was rebuilt in 704 during the reign of Empress Wu Zetian, adding 5 stories. After an earthquake, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda was repaired during the Ming Dynasty in a large scale. Currently, the pagoda is 64 meters high it offers the gorgeous views of Xi’an looking from the top.

- Terra Cotta Warriors Museum :
The Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses of Qinshihuang (the First Emperor of China of the Qin Dynasty) can be traced back to 210 BC. The pits of them were discovered in 1974 by local farmers near Xi’an City. They are close to the Qinshihuang Mausoleum. The Terracotta Warriors and Horses are funerary clay figures buried with the First Qinshihuang, the purpose of which was to help rule another empire with Qinshihuang after his death.
- Forest of Stone Steles:
The biggest collection of stone books in China, the Stele Museum was set up in 1090AD to protect the scriptures of Tang Dynasty. More than 2,300 pieces of art works from 8 dynasties are displayed here. As there are so many stone tablets standing together, Chinese call it Stone Tablet Forest or Stele Forest. It is also the earliest museum of its kind in China.
- Xian City Wall :
Xian City Wall is the best-preserved ancient city wall in China and also the largest and most complete military facility in the world. You can hire a bike and bike on it. But we do not recommend that as it damages the wall.

- Nietang Big Buddha:
Nietang Buddha, named after Mt. Nietang 40 km (24.85 miles) southwest of Lhasa city, is the biggest stone statue engraved on a cliff in Tibet. Located at the north foot of Nietang Mountain, it is the first attraction to welcome visitors to Lhasa. Almost every passenger wants to get off the bus to get closer to it and take a photo as a souvenir. The statue is 8 meters (about 26 feet) in width and 9.8 meters (around 32 feet) in height including the base, 1.3 meters (4.27 feet). With its striking colour it can be seen clearly several miles away.

- Jokhang Temple:
Located at the city center of Lhasa, Jokhang Temple (Chinese pinyin: Da zhao si) is the first Buddhist temple in Tibet and considered as the most sacred and spiritual temple for Tibetans. Its fame equals to that of the Potala Palace and in 2000, it was also inscribed into the World Heritage List. The Great Prayer Festival celebrated from the 8th to the 15th day of the first Tibetan month is held at Jokhang Temple. Norbulingka Park (Chinese pinyin: Luo bu lin ka) was once the summer retreat of the Dalai Lamas from the 1780s up until the late 1950s. Covering a total area of 360,000 square meters, Norbulingka is the biggest park in Tibet that enjoys the most beautiful scenery and the largest number of historic relics. In 2001, Norbulingka was inscribed into the list of World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. Norbulingka Park is of significant cultural value. Not only does it embraces attractive scenery, but also reflects the ethnical and religious features of the Tibetans.
- Sera Monastery :
Located in the northern suburb 3 kilometers to Lhasa, Sera Monastery (Chinese pinyin: Se la si) is one of the three great monasteries of Tibet, the other two being Ganden Monastery and Drepung Monastery. Covering an area of about 115,000 square meters, Sera Monastery once housed 8,000 monks. There are colleges, residential rooms, and Doctrine Halls inside the monastery. Lama debating is going on every afternoon beginning at 3:00 except Sunday in the courtyard of Sera Monastery. Visiting Sera Monastery, tourists can experience the religious and cultural atmosphere in the popular scenic spot of Tibet.

Situated at the foot of Mount Gephel and 5 kilometers from the western suburb of Lhasa, Drepung Monastery (Chinese pinyin: Zhe bang si) is the largest monastery in the world. Being one of the three great monasteries of Tibet, Drepung Monastery takes up an area of 250, 000 square meters. The numerous cultural relics stored in Drepung Monastery add to its prestige. The carpets made in Tibet are among one the 3 best kinds of carpets in the world. In a Lhasa Carpet Factory, hundreds of experienced weavers use the traditional looms to weave carpets. - Jade Buddha Temple:
There are two jade Buddha statues in the Jade Buddha Temple which were imported from Burma in 1882: the sitting Buddha and the reclining Buddha. They are considered as treasure in the art of Buddhism. The Tripitaka Sutra published in the reign of Emperor Qianlong is kept in the Jade Buddha Temple in full text, consisting of 7,000 volumes in total. There are also the Meditation Hall, Vegetarian Canteen, Charity and Virtue Hall, Bronze Buddha Hall and Hall of Goddess of Mercy and so on.
- Yu Garden:
Yuyuan Garden locates near the City God Temple in Shanghai. It is one of the more exquisite gardens in Southern China with a history of over 40 years. Although repaired for many times, each hall, pavilion, stream, stone and so on in the garden expresses the essence of the landscape design of the Ming and Qing Dynasty in Southern China.
- The Bund:
The Bund (Wai tan) is the one of the best-known landmarks that cannot be missed in Shanghai. It is considered as China’s “Wall Street”. The architectures on the Bund are described as an “Exhibition of World Architecture”. It is a busy commercial street during daytime. But, when the lights of various colors are on at night, the buildings at the Bund along the Huangpu River are just like crystal palaces, reflecting a sense of luxury and elegance. The Bund symbolizes that Shanghai is the fastest-developing city in China.
- Nanjing Road:
West Nanjing Road features a number of up-market shopping centers, office buildings, and some other retail outlets. Many of Shanghai’s oldest and largest department stores are located at East Nanjing Road. Despite, there is a variety of domestic retail outlets and some traditional delicacies with a long history. Being one of the 6 ancient towns in Southern China, Xitang is town with natural scenery in Jiashan County, Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Proviince. Xitang Ancient Town is less than 100 kilometers away from the city center of Shanghai, Suzhou, and Hangzhou. The biggest difference of Xitang from other ancient towns is that all the corridor streets by the rivers have ceilings. The length of the ceilinged corridors is about 1,000 meters. Another difference is that in this waterside town, residents make full use of every piece of land available. The shops or houses are very close to one another, forming about 120 narrow alleys, only letting through 2 people at a time.
